This vanilla pudding is to die for it is yummo! I use this pudding to fill my cream puffs and then the girls and I eat all the leftovers just like regular pudding.
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tbsp butter
½ tsp vanilla
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tbsp butter
½ tsp vanilla
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Add milk. Cook until thick. Reduce heat and cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and temper egg yolk. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Cool 15 minutes. Refrigerate 1 hour.
